Bell’s Special Double Cream Stout (Bell’s Brewery)

Ah, Bell’s Brewery. One of the first Midwest breweries I visited after getting into the craft beer scene. Because of this they will always hold a special place in my heart and give me reason to seek out their stuff when I’m back in Ohio. And that is precisely where I got today’s beer from.

Dark o’ the Moon (Elysian Brewing Co.)

PUMPKIN BEER #11

I once again began my LA Beer Week with the Stone Brewery event at Naja’s Place in Redondo Beach.  This year co-founder Greg Koch was at the event and he brought with him over 40 beers from the Stone stable.  On Thursday the 7th I met up with my friend Nick and we headed down to the Redondo Beach pier to enjoy the festivities.
