Pumking (Southern Tier Brewing)

PUMPKIN BEER #3

With two less than spectacular sour pumpkin beers under my belt I decided it was time to try I beer that I’ve been looking forward to for a couple years now. Ever since I first discovered New York’s Southern Tier Brewing Company I’ve made it my mission to try every one of their beers that I can get my hands on. So when I saw that the GPBF was serving their autumn seasonal PUMKING I knew it had to be one of my first beers of the day. ÜberSun (Southern Tier Brewing)

SUMMER BEERS Day 6

Another trip to the Midwest, another Southern Tier beer review. I was back recently for a wedding and noticed a bottle of ÜBERSUN in a beer store and knew I had to buy it. I couldn’t find any info about this beer on the Southern Tier website, thankfully I took a picture of the bottle. ÜberSun is an (Imperial) Wheat Beer with an 8% ABV.

Unearthly (Southern Tier Brewing)

Every time I go back to the Midwest I make sure to try at least one new (to me) Southern Tier beer. The last time I was back I picked up a 22 oz. bottle of their Imperial IPA, Unearthly. Unearthly is another beer in Southern Tier’s Imperial line; this one is available year-round and has 9.5% ABV.

Crème Brûlée (Southern Tier Brewing Company)

One of the Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Crème Brûlée Imperial Milk Stout is a their summer seasonal.  This “stout brewed with vanilla beans” is available in June and clocks in at 10% ABV.

Heavy Weizen (Southern Tier Brewing Company)

Heavy Weizen is part of the Seasonal Imperial series from Southern Tier Brewing Company.  The website claims that this Imperial Hefeweizen has a 7.3% ABV, but the bottle that I purchased claimed it was 8% ABV.
