I’ve recently become fascinated with the Euro Dark Lager beer style. The problem is the fact that I can really seem to find that many of them on my local beer store shelves. Well, it’s St. Patrick’s Day and I realized that I haven’t been very “current” with my seasonal beer reviews. Case in point, I’m still posting autumn and winter seasonal beer reviews and it’s half-way through March. So I decided to go to the store and pick up some Irish beer in honor of the holiday. I didn’t want to go with the typical Guinness or Smithwicks route, so I picked up a four-pack of O’HARA’S IRISH STOUT from Carlow Brewing Company.
