I picked up this bottle when I made the trip to Oregon last October, so I’ll admit I was a little peeved when I realized that you could easily get this beer here in LA. Doh! Anyway, once I cracked open this bottle I knew it was worth the time/money/wait.
THE STOIC is a Belgian Quadrupel with 20 IBUs and a reserved 11% ABV.
Belgo IPA is part of New Belgium Brewing’s Lips of Faith series. This Belgian IPA has 7o IBUs and an 8% ABV.
Grimbergen Dubbel is one of the Grimbergen Belgian abbey beers first brewed almost 900 years ago. This dubbel clocks in at 6.5% ABV.
Allagash Tripel has started showing up in 12 oz bottles, so I figured now was the time to pick some up. This Belgian ale has an impressive 9% ABV.
Belgian Abbey Red was part of the Cask Ale series that Karl Strauss runs (although this batch was not casked, damn). It clocked in with an 8.1%ABV and 20 IBU. Continue reading
