DAY #3 part 1 THE GREAT PUMPKIN BEER FEST
I woke up Sunday Morning and immediately jumped online to find the Eagles vs. Bills game. It quickly became apparent that Philly was not gonna win this one, so I wasn’t too concerned that I was gonna have to miss it (the first game this year I didn’t watch).
With myself showered and ready to greet the day I stepped out in to the early morning drizzle in search of something to eat. After consulting my phone I found a nice little diner called Planet Java and made my way there. As I ate my breakfast I was forced to watch the Giants vs. Seahawks game (which NY ended up winning, boo). Continue reading
This past weekend some beer loving friends and I headed down to the Lost Abbey/Port Brewing 4th Anniversary celebration in San Marcos, CA. With second session tickets already purchased, we jumped in the van and headed south.
The last time I was back in the mid-west I made a detour to Kalamazoo Michigan and stopped into Bell’s Brewery. They had numerous beers on tap at the Eccentric Cafe, so I pulled up a seat at the bar and dove right in!
I recently took a trip to the Hangar 24 Brewery in Redlands, CA. Located across the street from the Redlands Municipal Airport, Hangar 24 has been supplying Redlands with craft brewed beer since 2008.
While at the brewery, I was able to taste all of the beers they had available, but sadly only took notes on three of them. Here are brief reviews of their Orange Wheat, Helles and Imperial Blood Orange Wheat beers.
